The hostility towards cash in Norway is astounding. Just today I tried to pay twice with cash, but was forced to pay with plastic. To accept cash for most payments in Norway is mandatory , but there is no real enforcement. Most Norwegians pay with cards or Vipps without any second thought, creating data sets for banks and financial corporations that have huge privacy implications. But when I ask to pay with crypto or goldbacks at the coffee shop, people look at me like I’m an alien.

The spiritual world today is missing masculinity.

Game meat provides a lot of food for a long time, and should be a top priority if you live in Norway. Grazing animals are a miracle. Greater calorie density also means we don’t have to eat all the time, as we do if we eat plant-based. The choice is ridiculously simple if you live in Norway: All animal and local food is better than importing avocados and bananas from faraway lands.
